Pediatric cancer is an important and overlooked problem with 3K yearly diagnoses in Europe (1K in Spain) and 6K yearly deaths (+200 in Spain). Only 9 medicines for cancer are dedicated to children vs 150 to adults, and improvement data hasn't increased in the last 20 years.

Due to this pressing issue, Fight Kids Cancer (an international coalition of foundations) is launching a solidarity race to take place in 5 countries in September, in which local Bain offices will participate. Cris contra el cáncer organizes the race in Spain on September, and we are joining as the Iberia office.

To participate, create a profile under the Bain team. You must raise at least €200 to be able to run the 10km or walk the 2-5km! You can help with fundraising even if you don't participate in the race: donate to your favourite Bainie's profile or to the Bain profile page (donation will be allocated across existing profiles).

The race will take place September 23rd at 10 a.m. (account for an hour earlier to collect your jersey) in the Dehesa del Navalcarbón. As the date comes close, specific details will follow.
